Where to find Sticker + Art Machines around Orlado

A trend you may have noticed on social media has local artists finding new ways to reach fans and earn a little extra money. Taking old (and sometimes new) vending machines and repurposing them into art dispensers has grown in popularity, and now you can find a few right here in Orlando. From local cafés and local boutiques, repurposed vending machines are being transformed into quirky art dispensers. Stocked with mini art prints, handmade stickers, and tiny treasures, it provides a serotonin boost in the form of art, all for a much lower cost. Artists and small business owners are embracing this nostalgic medium as a low-maintenance, high-impact way to share their work in the wild. It's a movement that's part street art, part retail therapy, and 100% cool.

Why I want to see more of these types of machines around Orlando:

Democratizing Art Access

Instead of visiting a gallery or scrolling through an online shop, people can stumble upon affordable art in everyday places. This removes the intimidation factor and invites more people to engage with local artists.

Affordable Entry Point for Collectors

Many of these machines offer prints and stickers priced between $1 and $10. That makes it easy to become an mini art collector without breaking the bank, especially for younger audiences or casual buyers who might not otherwise consider purchasing art. Yes, these prints are typically quite small, but that doesn't negate the fact that they are still art and something you can display, whether it's a small frame, your water bottle, or a laptop.

Visibility for Independent Artists

Artists can share their work with a broader, often local audience, without needing a gallery or an online platform. It's like having a 24/7 mini-exhibit that anyone can browse and purchase from any time.

Impulse Art Buying

These machines encourage spontaneous purchases, similar to grabbing a pack of gum. That impulse element helps people support artists in a fun, low-pressure way.

Hyper-Local Creative Expression

Because many of these vending machines are community-based, they often feature work from local artists. It creates a sense of place and supports regional creativity, offering snapshots of the local art scene in real-time.

Interactivity and Nostalgia

The tactile experience of inserting coins and pulling a knob or pushing buttons adds an element of play that digital platforms can't replicate. It becomes an experience, not just a transaction.

So where can you find these sticker and art print machines in Orlando? Here’s your list:

Yay! Tiny Shop in Ivanhoe Village

Location of machine: Right by the front door of the shop during operating hours.

Artist: Taiylor Lane

Outside of one of my favorite local boutiques is this mini print vending machine by artist Taiylor Lane, known on Instagram as @taiystinyprints. These prints are all Florida-centric, with a few that I would call Taylor Swift-coded. If you want to shop her other prints, you can find them here.

Price: $1.00 - quarters only

House on Lang near Mills 50

Location of the machine: inside the shop, in the front room, near the front counter.

Artist: Rachel Michaelson

Rachel (@rachelscraftylife) and her father created hand-drawn and painted works that feature popular Orlando landmarks such as Lake Eola, Church Street, Sunrail, etc. These prints are pretty detailed and super cute. If you like her style you can shop her other items here.

Price: $1.00 - quarters only

Framework Coffee on Mills

Location of the machine: Located in the back of the shop, near the restroom.

Artist: Ashley Hallenbeck

Price: .50 (2 quarters only)

This machine features stickers by local artist Ashley Hallenback, otherwise known on Instagram as @ashleyasdfgh. Her sticker machines were here long before the art vending machine became a trend, and her art is really fun, especially if you are a Simpsons fan (which I am).

Easy Luck / Whippoorwill in the Milk District

Location of the machine: In the front area to the right of the front door.

Artist: Ashley Hallenbeck

Price: 0.50 (2 quarters only)

Another machine by local artist Ashley Hallenback, otherwise known on Instagram as @ashleyasdfgh. This is a machine is a double! Lots of really beautfil, fun, and colorful stickers in this one, I’ve used it several times.

Hopefully we see more of these machines pop up around town…maybe even one of my own!
