My Thrift and Antique Guide
This one for my thrifters, my treasure hunters, my trash-to-treasure refurbishers, and my collectors. These are the spots in my regular rotation locally when I want to thrift and some antique malls here and outside of Orlando where I've found success. It's true, thrifting isn't what it once was, and places have hiked up their prices to deal with resellers, but undoubtedly just out of greed. Despite that, give me an iced latte and a map of second-hand stores, and that's all I need for a good weekend, whether I find a treasure or not. I even found and painted a cute little shelving unit from Facebook Marketplace where I can display all my retro items that bring a smile to my face. No gatekeeping here; these are some of my favorite spots below.
THRIFT
OMG! Thrift - Casselberry
Years ago, this space was once an antique/furniture shop that I loved to frequent, but I’m happy that OMG Thrift has taken over the space. One of the best things about OMG! Thrift is its dedication to color coordination. It is pleasing to the eye, but it makes shopping more manageable if you have a particular color scheme you are hunting for or avoiding. OMG! gets why thrift shops are beneficial to our communities by keeping 20 million pounds of used goods from landfills each year. Unlike many thrift shops, they have a loyalty program that adds to what you are already saving.
Bonus: Donut King is less than a mile away. Just sayin.

Address: 1442 FL-436 Suite 1028, Casselberry, FL 32707
BOOMERANGS THRIFT & GIFT - altamonte springs
Located in Altamonte Springs, Boomerangs is owned and operated by the Animal Rescue Fund Inc. If you shop here, you are helping to fund smaller local animal rescue organizations. It’s not a huge shop, but it is pretty well organized with a mix of merchandise.
Address: 1140 East Altamonte Dr. #1037 Altamonte Springs, FL. 32701
Parking: Parking lot
Teen Challenge Super Thrift - sanford
This thrift store has ended up in my rotation not for clothes but for furniture. I’m always keeping an eye on items that could be refurbished. They tend to have mostly larger pieces of furniture like couches, tables, cabinets, and the like, but by visiting regularly, you might find the perfect piece to bring back to life.
Bonus: It’s right next door to a Goodwill, so you automatically have two spots in one to hit up.
Address: 4540 FL-46, Sanford, FL 32771
Parking: Parking lot
Community Thrift - South Orange
I’ve never walked in and not seen a line wrapped around part of the store. Don’t let that dissuade you; there are treasures to be found here. I’ve found some decent clothes here, but I love looking through their houseware section. While prices at all thrift stores have gone up, you can still find items that will likely be less than at an antique mall, like an entire collection of pastel Fiestaware or sweet retro strawberry jars. Always look on the top of all the racks; they put together bags of sets or bundle similar items. Community Thrift is CASH ONLY.
Bonus: It’s close to EchoBase Collectibles.
Parking: Parking Lot
Address: 5456 Hansel Ave, Edgewood, FL 32809
CITY THRIFT - Orlando
You may recognize this building off Edgewater Drive by its retro and peeling exterior paint job (they painted over it on one side). Once known as Community Thrift, this location closed down and reopened under new owners and a new name. I’ve personally found it to be cleaner and more organized, and now they accept cards, not just cash.
Parking: Parking Lot
Address: 6015 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32810
Treasure Mart - Eustis
You could call it an antique mall, but I’d call it an indoor thrift market. It goes on forever, and you have to strategize a plan of attack to make sure you see everything. The perimeter has rooms where some vendors have their items in a more private setting, and then there is aisle after aisle in the center. It’s an experience, but I doubt you’ll leave empty-handed. Some items are priced so low you can’t help but get at least one thing. For example, I purchased a very stylish gold, modern magazine stand for only $10. There may not be many reasons to go to Eustis, and this place is definitely on the dirtier, dustier side, but if you are ever hanging out in Mt. Dora, this is a destination I would give a whirl.
Bonus: This isn’t very far from the Wildwood Antique Mall, so you can hit up both spots if you make the trek out here.

Goodwill
Undoubtedly, Goodwill is the OG of thrift shops and the place I spent the most dollars growing up. Some have coined it "Greedwill" because prices have increased, so it's a little harder to find great deals, but not impossible. I have a few locations in regular rotation, including Winter Park and Casselberry, but the Goodwill on Orange Blossom Trail is my favorite. Over the past few years, it's gotten so much better, and they even restructured the space, so now there is a dedicated cash wrap with multiple cashiers. That may not sound like a big deal, but trust me, it's a wonderful improvement if you frequent this location.

ANTIQUE MALLS
Trader Mae’s - apopka
Located in Apopka, you’ll find two large warehouses that makeup Trader Mae’s. Like most Antique Malls, the spaces are made up of vendors booths, but at Trader Mae’s, much of what you will find is furniture. There is a lot of shabby chic here, but a few vendors I found have glassware and decor that is more funky vintage than farmhouse.
Parking: Parking Lot
Address: 2001 Rock Springs Rd, Apopka, FL 32712
Coop Antiques - oviedo
This antique mall is located over near downtown Oviedo. It’s slightly smaller than Orange Tree Antiques but still has a decent selection of different booths. Also, you do not have to put your purse in a locker here. There is a good mix of collectibles, toys, furniture, decor, and more. Prices are pretty comparable to what you would find online for specific items, but you might stumble upon a bargain or a treasure you’ve been looking for at a spot that isn’t on many people’s radars.
Bonus: There is a decent Goodwill not far from this location. Also, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream is across the street.
Address: 97 Geneva Drive, Oviedo, FL 32765
Parking: Parking lot
Marketplace at Rivertown - Deland
I dare not visit Deland without a trip to the Marketplace at Rivertown. This antique mall is three stories packed with furniture, clothes, and homewares from top to bottom. Not to mention every trinket your mother had in the house growing up that causes significant "this use to be my playground" vibes.
I think I spent over an hour searching the levels for treasures on my last visit. Also, the massive collection of old postcards by city and state held my attention for a while. Then, finally, I found some inspiring vintage cards from Orlando in the 50s and 60s I couldn't pass up.
Bonus: Being located in downtown Deland you can easily make a full afternoon of visiting this spot.
Address: 114 S Woodland Blvd, DeLand, FL 32720
Parking: Street parking or find one of the small parking lots available off the main drag.
Orange Tree Antique - winter park
Orange Tree is such a gem. I visit monthly, and it's become a favorite destination for me, even if I do not make a purchase. Something is calming about it, especially since I almost always shop solo with my AirPods playing my selected soundtrack for the day. Once you start visiting it regularly, you get familiar with the different vendor's spaces, and you begin to have favorite areas to check on repeatedly. Orange Tree is great for decorative items but also furniture. If you collect vinyl, don't miss the hidden room in the back right corner of the main hall. Shopping note: Don't bring any large bags with you when you visit because all bags are to be left in lockers at the front of the shop. Don't worry; you keep the key.
Bonus: Being so close to the heart of Winter Park you can easily visit other local shops nearby or grab food or boba. Krave Boba is actually in the same shopping center.
Address: 853 Orlando Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789

The Lovely Boutique - orlando
This isn’t precisely an Antique Mall, but it’s not a thrift store. Here you are going to find a mix of vendors, and within those items, you will find things like vintage clothing, collectibles, housewares, and more. They lean on the older side, so I’m including it in this list. I’m usually drawn to the curated home goods sections filled with tapestries, accent pieces, and cute artwork. You get a nice mix of old, new, and local here, and that’s why it’s one of my favorite local shops. There is a lot of inspiration in the vendor's carefully designed spaces.
Bonus: You have an endless amount of options for food and treats nearby, plus a stop at Park Ave CDs.

Echoes of Yesterday Antique Mall - Kissimmee
This is a smaller antique shop located in downtown Kissimmee. You are more likely to find furniture and decor here, although there is a mix of books and some collectible items. Randomly I scored some old BabySitters Club books here.
Bonus: It’s right across from another antique shop.
Address: 109 Broadway, Kissimmee, FL 34741
Parking: There is a free parking garage right down the street.
Lanier’s Historic Downtown Marketplace - Kissimmee
Located right across the street from Echoes of Yesterday, this is a much larger store that will have you digging for treasures. Some areas are more organized and easy to sort through, whereas other areas are very narrow, with completely packed shelves from top to bottom. In addition, there are random Disney items lying around for any Disney collectors.
Bonus: You can eat at Buchito when you go.
Parking: Free parking garage behind it.
Address: 08 BROADWAY KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA 34741
Renningers Antiques - mt. Dora
Renningers is more a fleas market than an antique mall, but they do host large Antique Extravaganza weekends, and there are certainly antiques inside, so it kind of applies. The outside flea market can be overwhelming for people who like things organized, but the perk of the chaos is you can usually haggle on price. On the weekends of the extravaganza (this only happens three times a year), it is absolute mayhem, not to mention there is a $10 charge for admission. Die-hard people will tell you it’s worth it, but I prefer a more laid-back experience.

Wildwood Antique Mall - Lakeland
Once word got out that this particular location of Wildwood Antiques had an extensive offering of Disney items, it’s been all over YouTube and Tiktok. Yes, it’s true if you’re a huge Disney fan, you will likely find anything from old collectible items to original artwork to actual items from hotels and resorts, but of course, most of that comes with a hefty price tag. I found a vintage Figment framed poster, and it was $400 if that gives you an idea of what you are dealing with here. Beyond the Disney merchandise, this is a large antique mall that you could easily spend a few hours in with way more to offer in Collectibles, Decor, and Furniture.
The Wildwood Antique Malls in Eustis and Wildwood are worth visiting as well.
Bonus: This gives you a chance to visit downtown Lakeland.

Sherman’s Antiques - Winter Haven
If Shermans was located in Orlando, I’d be there every week. This two-level antique store was a wonderland (at least to me). It has a great balance of collectibles, decor, and glassware, and the bottom basement area is filled with furniture. Prices were reasonable, but of course, it varies on the item. However, some booths had sales, so what I bought was 40% off that day. The owners were so lovely, and I’m planning my next trip very soon.
Bonus: If you make the trip to Winter Haven you’ll find enough spots to make a day of it.
Parking: Parking lot
Address: 1103 6th St NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881
Treasure House Antiques - Winter Haven
Located in what use to be a funeral home, this expansive Antique shop has a lot to get through, and it can feel like a bit of a maze at times. Each room and area is filled with an eclectic mix of items, so take your time and make sure you don’t miss any areas. Prices from what I saw were pretty fair,

Address: 232 6th St NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881
Coronado Antiques & More - New Smyrna Beach
This was a smaller antique mall we found while in New Smyrna. It was more on the furniture and decor side, and I wouldn’t recommend making a trip just to go here, but if you’re in the area, it’s worth checking out. I did get a pretty great framed Picasso print here.
Parking: Parking Lot
Address: 1441 S Dixie Freeway New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168
Beehive Antiques - Holly Hill
Beehive isn’t a sprawling antique mall, but a smaller shop outside of Daytona with a nice mix of inventory.
Prices were on par with other antique spots, and they did have a room that was just clothing. I didn’t find any must have items from this particular shop, but they had cool items.
Address: 1019 Ridgewood Ave, Holly Hill, FL 32117
Our Old Stuff Antiques - Holly Hill
This spot is right next door to BeeHive and they seem to have a great relationship because both owners mentioned going to the other shop. Our Old Stuff is a bit larger and had more items to dig through that included furniture, books, decor, random items, and lots of collectibles.

Address: 1005 Ridgewood Ave, Holly Hill, FL 32117
Diggers Antique Mall - Ocala
Diggers is such an interesting place. They had a huge outdoor area with several antique items, from vintage soda machines to parts of vintage cars, I even spotted a few gumball machines, but they were too pricey for me. Inside there is a large variety of items, from collectibles to furniture. This is a great spot, but it can get quite dusty, so heads up.

Address: 1811 N Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34475
Ole Cracker House Antique Mall - Ocala
Ocala is a haven for antique malls. This one May have been my favorite due to this year size of it but also what they had inside. Every single square foot was packed with items, and as you walked down the aisle you fell into more narrow rows that could easily take you 10 minutes to sort through so you didn’t miss anything.
Parking: Parking Lot
Address: 1734 N Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34475
America's Antique Mall - Melbourne
If you are in the Melbourne area this is an antique mall that I would definitely put on your list. It’s so huge that they actually have names for each aisle, which was helpful when losing my shopping partner and not being able to locate them. The standard collectibles decor and furniture are here but also clothing and don’t forget the wall of mugs near the bathroom.
Bonus: Downtown Melbourne and the outlying areas have quite a few thrift stores and some cool local shops and eateries to visit if you go.
Parking: Parking lot
Address: 850 N Apollo Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935
Certainly not every thrift shop or antique mall in the area made my list, but these are the ones that I either frequent or enjoyed myself enough to go again. This list does not include the many vintage shops we have in Orlando that are also wonderful and should be supported.
